NDMA Completes Assessment of Flood-Damaged Houses in the City
The Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has successfully completed the assessment of houses affected by recent flooding in the city.
11 teams were deployed across various parts of the city to conduct the assessments. These teams visited the most severely impacted households to evaluate the extent of the damage caused by the floods.
The assessment efforts were supported by the Maldives Red Crescent and the Ministry of Social and Family Development. NDMA expressed its gratitude to both institutions for their active participation and assistance.
The results of this assessment will guide the provision of aid and assistance to those affected by the floods.
